- 1Your OBC-NCL category rank gives you category-specific seats — always fill choices in all categories you qualify for.
- 2NITs in the top tier (Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal) should be your primary focus for Safe options.
- 3Always include home state NIT choices — HS quota is ~60% more relaxed than OS and can get you a better branch.
